Plastic Folding Worktable, WORX Pegasus
Light enough to be portable but strong enough for heavy loads. The best of both worlds?
I know what your thinking.
“A plastic table, how durable could it be?”
Made from heavy duty molded ABS with steel supports, this table is surprisingly SOLID.
The perfect blend of strength & portability
Weighting in at under 30lbs, this table is rated to hold up to 300lbs as a work table or 1,000lbs as a sawhorse.
That is some pretty serious weight from a plastic table!
When not is use, it can be easily folded up for storage or transport.
To break the table down, just push the two locking tabs on each side of the table and the top will fold down. With both sides now collapsed you can then fold up the bottom shelf and carry it to the next project.
In my opinion, this balance of portability and stability is what makes this one of the best folding worktables on the market.
More than just a sawhorse, (Features)
At first glance this looks like just a small folding table or sawhorse.
But, there are quite a few smart features built into the design that can come in handy. These include a lower shelf, clamps and holding pegs.
The image above shows the table in the folded position. From here you can see the clamps, pegs and metal rails that all come included with the table.
Not only are the clamps included, but they designed the table with hangers to keep them close by at all times.
This is extremely handy when setting up away from home as you don’t have to worry about forgetting your clamps.
Features:
• Includes (2) quick clamps with storage hangers built into the table
• Bottom shelf storage, keeps the top work space clear
• Can be setup/taken down in seconds using the locking tabs
• Lightweight and portable, weighting under 30lbs
• High Load Capacity: 300lbs as a table, 1,000lbs as a sawhorse
Final Thoughts and Overall Review, WORX Pegasus
Overall I am very happy with this table.
It was built better than I expected it to be and I like all of handy features that come standard.
.
So far I have used this table and the included clamps on a number of different projects.
From cutting down large boards, staging tools/cleaning products, grinding metal and just using it as an extra table in the garage.
I have used it out in the woods to setup a temporary workstation and in the driveway when doing automotive repairs.
Overall it is has been a big help with all of these projects as it allows you to work on a stable platform and keeps your tools off the ground.
